Kerala Forest Minister announces 100-day action plan for human-wildlife conflict mitigation
Forest Minister Shibu Baby John officially launched the 100-day action plan, which includes setting up 100 km of new solar fencing with automatic monitoring and sensor-based fault detection, forming 25 satellite Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) and urban Metro Rescue Teams, conducting Carrying Capacity and tiger studies, and establishing a unified victim compensation portal.
