Kerala government to exempt primary cooperative societies from PRS loans process: CM Satheesan
The State Cabinet approved the release of ₹52 crore to primary cooperative societies involved in paddy procurement to clear outstanding dues owed to farmers. The cabinet also decided to completely exempt primary cooperative societies from the Paddy Receipt Sheet (PRS) loan sanctioning process to expedite payment disbursements, enabling direct and immediate dues transfer to farmers' bank accounts.
